The DSXi is the ultimate open gantry, large FOV, single head SPECT camera. It is a cost effective camera for cardiology, as well as general purpose nuclear imaging.
The DSXi combines single head simplicity, with an open gantry design. Patients can be easily imaged on hospital beds, stretchers, or sitting upright. Prone and supine cardiac SPECT is also accommodated. The open design, advanced robotics, and ScintibedTM table work in concert to provide complete multi-purpose versatility.
The detector orientation of the DSXi is optimized in both whole body and SPECT imaging. For whole body, the long axis of the FOV is across the body while for SPECT, it is parallel to the patient’s torso. Long-axis SPECT orientation optimizes anatomical coverage for oncologic exams, routinely enabling imaging from the C-spine to the sacrum in a single SPECT acquisition.
